Student and Family Services

Counseling

The school counseling program is committed to supporting all students and their families, and addresses the developmental needs of each student with a focus on their academic and social emotional development. All students participate in small group lessons to discuss general adolescent topics and one-on-one to discuss individual concerns. Consultation with faculty, advisors and parents about students’ social emotional well-being is done throughout the school year. Students and families are invited to visit with the school counselor during school hours or schedule an appointment with any concerns.

Lunch/Nutrition Program

Every student is eligible to receive lunch through the federally funded free or reduced lunch program. All students receive free breakfast and snack daily.

Family Engagement

Our Family Association of Nativity (FAN) is a parent-led and organized group that supports the school by volunteering and planning events. All parents are welcomed and encouraged to join the FAN. Meetings are held monthly.

Families are encouraged to participate in monthly workshops that enhance their experience as a Nativity parent. Past workshops include parenting, spiritual development, and school-related topics.

Family Workshops

It is part of Nativity Prep’s mission to serve not just our students, but the whole family. Several times each year we offer workshops on various topics from financial literacy and internet safety to understanding the college prep process.

Class Dojo

Nativity Prep Academy uses Class Dojo to communicate with families. Current families can log in to Class Dojo here
