Dear Nativity Family,
If spring is the season of growth, then Nativity Prep is in full bloom!
Late March brought us one of our most beloved traditions: the Sponsor Lunch, where students and sponsors sit down for a meal that feels more like a family reunion than a formal event. Some sponsors were reconnecting with familiar faces; others were meeting their students for the very first time. But what stood out most was the unmistakable warmth coming from all corners of the tent. Parents, students, teachers, staff, sponsors—all gathered like one big extended family. It’s a reminder that at Nativity Prep, community isn’t just a word we use—it’s the air we breathe. Also, let’s be honest: the Family Association of Nativity (aka FAN) really does know how to throw a delicious party.
Speaking of celebrations, we recently raised a glass to “Cheers to the 11 Years”—an unforgettable fundraiser that not only hit our financial goals but also introduced new friends to the mission and magic of Nativity. It wasn’t just about dollars; it was about impact. It was about opening our doors and hearts, and showing people what transformation looks like—student by student, story by story.
In the glow of these bigger moments, we celebrated a few quieter (but no less sparkly) milestones. Our 2nd trimester art exhibition and award ceremony gave students a chance to shine in color, in dance, and in music, and gave us a chance to applaud their talent and dedication. Creativity may not always be loud, but its impact echoes.
And while we’re talking about rising stars, we’ve got one eye on the future. Our 8th graders are gearing up to enter some of the finest high schools in the city, and our high school seniors are opening long-awaited college acceptance letters. It’s an exciting, hope-filled time—a season of next steps and big dreams. And a time where Nativity lives up to its purpose; to provide students with opportunities and choices that had eluded generations before them.
As we look ahead to our 25th anniversary next year (yes, already!), we’re energized by all that’s blooming right now. Thank you for being part of this vibrant, ever-growing Nativity Prep family.
