College application season is approaching fast for high school seniors across the country. For Nativity Prep graduates, all of whom will represent the first generation of their families to attend college, this year becomes particularly important. How do you decide what to write about in your college essay? What financial aid is available to help pay for tuition? These are just some of the questions our graduates ask our staff as they prepare to enter their senior year of high school.
Nativity Prep graduates are returning to campus this summer to help them navigate all of the important tasks they will need to do to earn admission to college. This July, our rising high school seniors are learning about the extensive process for applying to college, including how to write their essays, apply for financial aid and plan ahead to meet the many deadlines they will face in the fall. They hear from experts in the field and receive regular guidance from our staff and experienced volunteers.
What makes Nativity Prep’s program so unique and effective is that we remain alongside our students during their entire 11-year journey from middle school to high school and into college. Our staff and volunteers offer them the skills, tools, encouragement and coaching to achieve their goal of earning a college degree.
