Breakfast of Champions Spreads NPA’s Mission to Hundreds

Choir sings "De Colores"

Thank you to those who took time early on the morning of March 7th to attend our Nativity Prep Academy Breakfast for Champions at the Del Mar Fairgrounds. Roughly 325 people came to learn more about our mission and vision while enjoying a delicious breakfast. Special thanks to Jamie & Tony Carr for hosting the event, and to those who served as table captains, inviting friends, family, and colleagues.

The Nativity Prep Choir made their debut performance, singing “Rain Down” and “De Colores,” which was very well received. Congratulations and thanks to Lou and Gaila Lebherz for their direction and choreography with our chorale. Following a short speech from Jesus Jimenez (Class of 2009) on the impact Nativity Prep has had on his life, he played Mozart’s Concerto #5 on the violin, a performance that amazed and hushed the audience. Click here to view photos of the event.

Without continued support from the community, Nativity Prep Academy couldn’t fulfill its mission of breaking the cycle of poverty through education. Please continue to spread the word of our good work. You are welcome to take a private tour of our school at any time. Please bring friends. Contact Del Centanni at delc@nativityprep.orgto arrange a time.
