On March 18th Nativity Prep Academy hosted its inaugural Angels’ Circle Reception to thank many of its volunteers and donors for their dedication to the school. The afternoon reception included a moving speech by Milenia, a graduate of Nativity Prep’s Class of 2014, and The Bishop’s School Class of 2018. In her talk, she shared that “My parents say that today they work with their hands, so that one day we can work with our brains.” She added, “My parents always taught my sister and me that education was the key. They always say, they can take everything from you except an education.” Milenia’s parents should be proud, as she’s been accepted into UCSD, USD and Loyola Marymount, where she will likely study pre-law. Also in attendance were three member of NPA’s ASB. This “thank you” reception had refreshments, a taco truck and a gorgeous view of the Rancho Santa Fee golf course. Special thanks to longtime benefactors to the school, Jeff and Jody Bradley, for hosting the reception.
